Build the ultimate ultra-compact PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) with the Always Armed 5" .300 Blackout Gen 1 IHS Upper Receiver. Designed for extreme maneuverability and maximum suppressor-ready performance, this complete upper receiver assembly is an ideal foundation for compact truck guns and close-quarters AR pistol builds.

At the center of this setup is a 5-inch 4150 steel barrel featuring a corrosion-resistant black nitride finish. Chambered in .300 Blackout with a fast 1:5 twist rate, it provides rapid bullet stabilization designed specifically to handle both heavy subsonic and fast supersonic loads out of short barrels. The micro-length gas system and .750 low-profile gas block deliver smooth, consistent cycling. The barrel comes topped with an A2 flash hider on standard 5/8x24 threads for easy silencer mounting.

Forged from high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum, the Mil-Spec upper receiver comes fully assembled with a dust cover and forward assist installed. Encasing the barrel is the 4.25" Gen 1 IHS (Integrated Hand Stop) free-float handguard, engineered to keep your support hand safe from the muzzle on ultra-short setups. M-LOK slots and a top Picatinny rail allow effortless attachment of optics, lights, and accessories.
